There's one band I love more than any. The Moody Blues are off and touring again in 2008. While there's only three original band members now, they're still one of the best touring bands ever and a complete pleasure to see. The 2008 Tour starts off Tuesday, 4 March, San Fransisco, CA, after which they'll be in : Orpheum TheatreNevada, California, Arizona, Texas, Florida in March. Neil Young hits the East Coast in December

A Veteran Rocker and one of the greats, Neil Young is out and touring again. The only dates I know of for him run into the 3rd week of December and are all on the East Coast. For a nostalgic rock show, you can't beat Neil . I'd advise going to Ticketmaster or somewhere fast for Tickets to these shows. Keep On Rocking In The Free World !! :)

Van Halen - A little more info

In just checking out a few venues , I've found that tickets are selling out very fast. If you have someone that you need to buy for for Christmas that's a total rocker, I'd get on getting seats for this show. This promises to be one of the rockingest tours around so get on it!

Ok , here's one that absolutely everybody will enjoy. Grease is playing at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in New York, NY. From November of 2007 into May of 2008. Makes for easy planning. You totally can't miss going to this one ! I was lucky enough to get to see Ian Anderson about a year ago. He was touring with a female orchastra and what a show! He ROCKS!!!!! like few others can. He's mezmerizing with his elf like dancing and flute playing. If i could , I'd be at this show! GO GO GO and get some tickets fast! I've been a Leon Russell fan for about as long as I can remember. I've somehow been lucky enough to get to know Leon and even his kids over the years. It really doesn't matter how many times you get to see Leon. He's always special. Truely, the Master of Space and Time. A Classical Treat in January

The 6th ANNUAL LAGUNA BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL will be held January 14th -January 20th, 2008. The Festival presents traditional and contemporary classical music in an accessible and intimate style. This is a real treat for anyone that has a love for classical in a relaxed setting. The Festival finale includes the Turtle Island Quartet . Something New to do in December

Looking for something new and different? There's a music festival comming up in December in Miami that you might want to try. The Rapture Music Festival includes 8 Live acts and 54 DJ's. It will be held Friday, December 7, 2007 - Saturday, December 8, 2007 8:00 PM - 12:00 PM . It's the 1st annual rapture music festival : dance culture : music : artwork and activism is offered. This will take place at the 66 Nightclub in Miami Florida. Although I personally don't expect to attend, I do hope to hear from those that do so I can give some kind of opinion on trip worthiness for year 2. Sounds like a fun time to me ! Fun and Happenings - Guides and Reviews

I'm going to start this blog as a place for people to just find fun things to do and plan on doing. I'll also be reviewing some concerts and events and giving my opinions on trip worthiness to each event. I'd like to start with mentioning Moondance Jam. It's a four day event that happens each year up in Northwest Minnesota and I was lucky enough to attend it this year. I saw Def Leppard, REO Speedwagon, Kansas, Rick Springfield, The New Cars, & The Moody Blues. These people really know how to throw a party. They have campsights available and the setup is excellent. This is deffinately an event to plan for and as it's yearly , easy to plan for. They have so many excellent bands and such a variety , that there's something sure to please everyone. In 2008, The Jam will take place July 9 - 12. I know that seems very distant but this is a four day event and something to plan ahead for.
